DERBYSHIRE IN WINTER

A day out that took in Edale, Castleton and, last but not least, a slice of cake and a cup of tea at the tearooms at Monsal Head.

  1. I've wanted to go to Derbyshire for ages. Now I know it's littered with tea shops it's even more of an excuse to go!

  2. Jean,
I am so glad I found you! I saw your comment on Walt's blog. For sometime now I've been looking for someone from Derbyshire. My maternal ancestors are from Derbyshire. They emigrated to the United States in the 1850's. Their name is Hadfield. Do you know any Hadfields?

Thank you for leaving a comment on my sadly neglected blog, which I fully intend to pay more attention to as soon as I have the time....!!
